History
Pensacola is home to the first established city in the United States. Before the Spanish settled at St. Augustine FL, a small colony off the Florida coast was discovered, now known as Pensacola Bay. The Spanish sold the territory to the United States in 1819. Each June the city celebrates it’s founding with the 10-day Festival of Five Flags.
